This Valentine’s Day, we wanted to spread some love for our new Healthy Bytes Interns. From performing eligibility checks to contracting, their hard work helps us make it easier for you to grow your private practice! Take some time to say hello!
Hi! My name is Joe, and I'm from a teeny tiny town in Western Massachusetts called Southwick. I'm a junior at NYU studying Global Public Health and Sociology, pre-law (taking the LSAT in June – yikes!). At Healthy Bytes, I do a lot of eligibility checks, but also assist with contracting and research. My favorite part of working at Healthy Bytes is our office dog, Abby. She's so cute! For a fun fact, I've seen almost every romantic comedy made in the 1990s, my favorites being "You've Got Mail" and "Notting Hill."
Hi there, I’m Nick! I’m from New Bedford, MA and I’m currently finishing up my MS at NYU. At Healthy Bytes, I contribute to our blog posts and digital content, as well as perform eligibility checks. My favorite part of being an intern here is getting to explore how public health, business trends and private practice interact. A fun fact about me is that I am obsessed with botanical gardens and Victorian-style conservatories - whenever I travel, that’s one of the first things I look up!
Hi, I’m Lauren. I am originally from Sherwood, Arkansas and am currently a first year MPH student at NYU, where I study public health nutrition. At Healthy Bytes, I perform eligibility checks and sometimes help with contracting. I love the Healthy Bytes team and work environment (especially our Wednesday potluck lunches). A fun fact: my parents dropped me off at culinary camp when I was 16 years old, which is part of the reason I pursued health and nutrition rather than culinary school.
Hi, I'm Khiem Chau and I'm from Binghamton, NY. I study History at Columbia University, with a concentration in Applied Statistics. At Healthy Bytes, I help with performing eligibility checks. My favorite part about working at Healthy Bytes is the team; I really enjoy our Wednesday potlucks and group runs! A fun fact about me is that I can split an apple in half with one finger!
Welcome, all – we enjoy having you as a valued part of our team, working to improve access to healthcare for all!
